Here are some quicktime movie examples of dipole-dipole interactions.

This is video taken of two magnets suspended from long thin filaments free to move and rotate.

Computer simulated dipole interactions
These movies were made with a computer simulation and played back at 120 frames per second, much faster than the 30 fps of the real video. By moving the time slider you can see how the magnets move and rotate on a frame by frame basis.

Strobe capture
These images are long exposure photographs taken with a digital camera. Strobes were used to get the multiple exposures per photograph.
