4CS + TSAPS 2016 | SPS Zones' Meeting

Traditionally, the SPS Texas section (Zone 13) has had their fall zone meeting together with the Texas Section meeting of the American Physical Society (APS).

Since this year's APS section meeting is jointly between the 4Corners and Texas sections, we extend the invitation to the SPS zones (Zones 14, 15 and 16) covering the Four-Corners states.

All registration and abstract submission will go through the APS links provided on the toolbar on the left.

Note: You do not need to be an APS member to register through those sites, just indicate ‘non-member’ status when registering; the fees are the same.

The deadline for abstract submission is September 23, 2016.

If you want to present in an SPS session, please select the ‘SPS’ category upon submission. Unlike regular APS contributed talks, SPS contributions may not be limited to 10 minutes. SPS member schools may also chose to organize a workshop (up to 2 hours); workshops have to be identified in the title of the abstract submission.

The deadline for pre-registation is September 26, 2016. SPS student registration fees will be $50, and it includes the lunches and coffee breaks. After that date, the registration fees will be $70.
